Unconditional photo shoot

Can't wait to say that I had the opportunity to photograph my friend Jeffery wright's band Unconditional Arms, not only is this a great opportunity for me but I am also honored that he asked me to shoot them. We started off shooting towards the hills in Oakland and ended up hiking up midway before the sun went down. Then we shot at a burger place and a neat coffee shop. Photographs were all taken with a 5D Mark II and either a 85mm f1.2 lens or a 24-105mm f4 lens. I choose to shoot with the 24-105 during group shots because I would be able to capture the whole group of guys with no problem....

Garbage Product

Man oh man was I have a hard time with this still life class. I cannot imagine that I past it with anything with a C. But on the bright side it's over and hopefully I never have to deal with this particular instructor again.  The class was a major bashing and the only time we learned was when the teacher actually let us play around with the lights. He just seemed distracted by other things and perhaps being a still life person doesn't help his situation. Anyways, for my final in that class which ended in December I could have shot anything I wanted but I did miss a couple classes. Therefore...

Is it time for spring yet?

  Why not celebrate the coming spring by talking about floral designs I shot. Last year I had the pleasure of working with some of the most amazing people to put together a couple of amazing portraits for one of my classes. With their help I was able to find models, locations, props and the beautiful outfits you see these lovely ladies wearing. All the shots were meant to give off a feeling of a glamorous shot to take it's viewers on a whimsical journey.
